Josephine is a European bistro in a mid-century Silver Lake bungalow. The dining room and patio serve a five-course supper with no choices. We cook, you eat. The bar runs a chalkboard menu for guests who want to drop in and order what they want. The back patio is open for wine, beer, and a bite. Josephine is a place to drop your shoulders, and have fun long into the night.

The dining room and patio serve a set six-course supper for $95 per person. The menu changes monthly and is built around classical technique, whole-animal cookery, and sauces. Every meal begins with complimentary crudité, focaccia, and anchoïade. We also offer a wine pairing for $55 per person.
The bar has its own chalkboard menu with dishes like beef tartare, steak frites, crab Josephine, and whatever else the kitchen is inspired by that week.

Please inform us when you book your reservation. We prepare a vegetarian path through the six courses for guests who need it. For allergies and other restrictions, we do our best, but our kitchen is small and our menu is set. Please reach out to us directly so we can let you know what we can do.

We accept cancellations up to 24 hours in advance with no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows may be $95 per person. Please cancel through Resy or email us directly.

No. We require a credit card to hold the reservation but only charge in the case of a late cancellation or no-show. You will receive a bill at the end of your meal.

We are a beer and wine restaurant. No spirits, no cocktails. We have a curated bottle list, wines by the glass on the chalkboard, and six beers at $7 each.
